Last Sunday, Tim and I were lucky enough to have a free day off from the responsibilities of adult-ish life. No school, no interviews, no preparing for interviews, no commitments at all. Naturally, we decided to drive out to the Rockies.

Our itinerary consisted of a pitstop in Canmore, a first-time visit to Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka (in which the mysterious art of snow rolling has now been mastered), being isolated near the hoo-doos, reuniting with the the Elk and Oarsman, and a nighttime drive covered in some of the brightest stars I’ve ever seen.

Canada, you never cease to amaze me. Always so glad to call this place home.
